Met Eireann has predicted a temperature drop as Mother's Day celebrations kick in.
The Leinster forecast is described as cold and dry, with hazy sunshine for most of the morning. The weather will later shift as outbreaks of rain and drizzle hit Dublin in the afternoon.
Highest daytime temperatures range from 8 to 10 degrees, with light winds increasing moderate southerly through the afternoon. Cloudy conditions will set in tonight, with scattered showers predicted as the night goes on

The mercury will pick up next week with higher temperatures of around 12 to 14 degrees predicted on Monday. The national forecast for the next few days is below.
Monday
Cloudy with patchy rain and drizzle continuing through the day. Mild with highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees in moderate southerly winds.
Monday night
Outbreaks of rain will clear to the north early on Monday night, followed quickly from the southwest by further showery rain. Some of the showers will be heavy or possibly thundery. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees in a light to moderate southerly breeze.
Tuesday
Tuesday will start off with a mix of scattered showers and sunny spells. Cloud will thicken from the southwest as the day goes on with rain gradually spreading northeastwards across the country. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in moderate southwesterly winds.
Tuesday night
A wet night with widespread rain, turning heavy in places. Becoming blustery as southwesterly winds increase fresh, strong at times on Atlantic coasts. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees.
