The unsettled weather looks set to continue into next week with Met Eireann saying we can expect hail and heavy showers in the coming days.
Today will be mostly dry with highs of 11 to 14C with a chance of just isolated showers in Dublin. Saturday is looking much the same with spells of hazy sunshine and temperatures between 11 and 13C.
But the national forecast predicts the weather will take a turn for the worse from Easter Sunday with heavy showers and hail set to hit early next week. Weather Alerts Ireland even predict we could have the first named storm of the year.

Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees with a moderate to fresh south to southeast wind."
Monday: "There will be widespread showers with some sunshine in between. Some of the showers will be heavy with hail and thunder possible. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in a moderate to fresh and blustery southwest wind."
Tuesday: "There is uncertainty in the forecast for Tuesday but there is potential for a spell of wet and windy weather. Remaining generally unsettled for the rest of the week."
