The stunning home was designed in 1964 by well-known German architects Joachim and Margot Schürmann for Joachim's brother Werner Schürmann and his wife Gerda Froemel.

The listing for the home says: "Built by hand and without machinery the two brothers salvaged many materials to create Bauhaus including salvaged brick and old lamp posts surrounding the atrium."
