Despite being one of the most sought-after locations nationwide, Dublin’s house prices have left many young people and families looking outside of the capital.
There was a national 8 per cent increase in the housing market in 2022 alone. According to estate agent Sherry Fitzgerald, the cheapest house you can find on the market in Dublin is in Balbriggan and is on the market for €169,500 although it features just one bedroom, reports the Irish Mirror.
The estate agent’s advert reads: “No. 2 Brecan Close is a bright and spacious one bedroom town house which is situated at the entrance to this ever popular and much sought after cul-de-sac development off the town centre.
