A Dublin restaurant is providing a fun brunch every weekend - but without the hangover.
Craig Reynolds, who is a director at Bingo Loco, Anti Social, Happy Endings and Jackie's, found himself with nothing to do during the Covid pandemic.
So he came together with three of his friends who work in the same sector to create Happy Endings.
He said: “I quite like brunch because you meet your friends, have a few drinks and head home early. You can chill out in the house and go to work fine the next day whereas you certainly don’t want to be doing that after a big night out.

“Happy Endings began as a pop-up in 2020, we were in the middle of Covid then so we only had collection or delivery. There were four of us who couldn’t work because we were in hospitality and events, so we got together to see what we could do.
"We’re all big fans of street food and like to travel a lot, we also love fried chicken so that’s what the menu is centred around.
“We’ve global street food flavours, we’re a bit out there…one week we served oysters with Meanies.
“It was solely delivery and takeout for about six months and we blew up on social media so we found ourselves a permanent home on Aston Quay.
"We’ve street food, good times, DJs every weekend, we’re heavy on cocktails and we’ve a lot of brunch stuff.
“It’s a fun party atmosphere, it’s a social restaurant. Nobody in Dublin is really providing a fun brunch with specific pop artist themes and we go down the disco route, we blast out the likes of Spice Girls in a restaurant setting.”
The bottomless brunch at Happy Endings has a different theme each week. They range from Noughties Guilty Pleasures to Take That and 80’s Pop Icons.
Craig continued: “We’ve two sittings a day, one at 1:00pm and the other at 3:00pm. We started the brushes a few weeks ago because we wanted more events.
“I’m from an event driven background and now we’re experimenting. We did a Beyonce brunch with a drag host, it was great.
“Sometimes we’ve DJs, we’re trying different themes. ABBA flew out the door so we’re bringing it back. We’re finding our groove and seeing what works best.”
