Dublin Racing Festival is set to return to Leopardstown Racecourse on Saturday, February 5 and Sunday, February 6 and will feature headline performances from Mundy and George Murphy.
Promising a weekend of Grade 1 racing at the prestigious Dublin track, the festival will be complimented by these musical performances as well as appetising local cuisine and a variety of on-site entertainment.
The festival is said to bring thousands of punters to Dublin as well as some of the biggest names in horse racing.
Mundy will headline the festival on Saturday. The singer was catapulted to fame with songs like To You I Bestow and his single Galway Girl went on to become the most downloaded track in Ireland for two consecutive years.
George Murphy will be Sunday's headline act. The singer-songwriter has made his stamp on the Irish music scene with his appearance on You're A Star when he performed renditions of classic songs by Luke Kelly. He has since released four studio albums and his live shows have garnered a loyal international audience.
Once again, Dublin Racing Festival will showcase signature Dublin dishes over the weekend as the public are invited to sample some of the city's culinary delights at a Dublin Street Food Court.
Additionally, there will be pop-up busking sessions to add to the atmosphere.
Rugby fans will be looked after as the opening encounters in the 6 Nations Championship will be on big screens, including Ireland v Wales on Saturday at 2:15pm.
2022 sees Dublin Racing Festival kick off the partnership between Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) and Bulmers.
CEO of Horse Racing Ireland Paul Dermody said: "With the support of Bulmers we look forward to superb entertainment that will deepen existing race fans experiences and broaden the appeal of Horse Racing to a new audience.
"We are so thrilled to be in a position to showcase this partnership, which also highlights our continuing commitment to Irish music, to our racegoers from next week at Dublin Racing Festival 2022."
