The Bloody Stream, Howth
The Bloody Stream in Howth is by far one of the most popular pubs in the area. With its lovely outdoor area to the front, located just under the steps up to the DART station, you'll get great food here such as burgers and steaks as well as pints, cocktails and plenty of sunshine.
Johnnie Fox's
The historical Dublin pub in the mountains, Johnnie Fox's, offers up great opportunities for soaking up the sun accompanied by delicious food and drinks.
It isn't too far from the base of the Ticknock walking trails, so it makes for a nice reward after making your way up and down the Dublin Mountains.
Toner's
If you find yourself in the city centre this weekend, you will simply have to head to the city's best beer garden.
On a sunny day, the atmosphere in Toner's beer garden on Baggot Street is second to none. You'll enjoy great pints of the black stuff in the huge outdoor watering hole that works as a wonderful sun trap.
The Manhattan, Raheny
After a day out in St Anne's Park or down the coast in Raheny, we suggest going for some scoops and delicious grub in The Manhattan.
The pub's beer garden is fairly large and beautifully decorated, and there is plenty of outdoor seating where you can have some drinks and food such as burgers, fries, nachos and pizzas.
The Bath Pub, Sandymount
The Bath Pub will be electric when there's a rugby match on in the Aviva Stadium, but the vibes here are generally good whenever the sun comes out to shine regardless of what's on that day.
Expect pints, great food such as pizzas and classic pub grub and plenty of sunshine in the pub's beer garden.
The Yacht, Clontarf
During the pandemic, The Yacht in Clontarf turned its car park into a beautiful beer garden where you can enjoy the venue's delicious food and drinks. Plus, there is a terrace at the front of the pub which offers lovely views of the coast on a sunny day.
The Living Room
The Living Room on Cathal Brugha Street is one of the best places in the city to go when there is a match on. The venue is home to a huge beer garden with a massive screen.
This spot is known for its lively atmosphere, especially into the late hours, as well as its great cocktails and other drink options.
Nolita
Nolita on George's Street has one of the city's most stylish beer gardens, beautifully decorated in summery decor.
Nolita serves a menu of delightfulness including pizzas and pasta dishes as well as chic cocktails and pints.
