We visited Tailors Hall Tavern and its outdoors area was ideal to enjoy the sunny weather.
The pub opened earlier this year inside Tailors' Hall, Dublin's oldest surviving Guild Hall. The building was originally a guild hall and it is more than 300 years old. It is situated at Back Lane in The Liberties, with The Christchurch Inn across the street.
With live music in the atmospheric indoor area, relatively affordable drinks and food menu, the friendly staff, the tavern gives a welcoming and home-like feeling. The interior reminds of the inside of a hunter's lodge, with wall mounted antlers, stone walls and old paintings.
Meanwhile, the beer garden outside, with vases full of flowers and planters, makes it perfect for those sunny spells we've been getting recently in-between the rain.

When it comes to prices, they have seafood chowder for €8 (or veggie soup for €7 for those who are not fans of seafood). Cottage pie with "crispy cheese and mustard potato topping" for €15 is also on the menu, along with traditional Irish beef and lamb stews for the same price. They also have fish and chips for €18 and chicken wings for €11.
Drinks are relatively cheap. You can find a Jameson whiskey, rum, tequila and gin for as low as €6. For those who want a more romantic evening, house wine (both red and white) starts from €6.50 but they also have Argentinian and New Zealand wine in the list. A Guinness pint is €6, as is a Heineken.
Tailors Hall Tavern also has a selection of non-alcoholic beer and minerals for those who want to enjoy a sober night with friends.

The pub is also located near bus stops so it is very accessible even for those who don't live in the area.
