It's probably the most famous nightclub in the country and now you could get the chance to work at Copper Face Jacks.
The iconic Harcourt Street venue is looking for experienced door staff to join their team and they are also looking to hire bar staff along with cocktail experts. And the popular night spot is offering rates of pay of between €12 and €18 for the various roles.
Coppers are currently advertising the jobs online and have full and part-time security and bar staff roles available while the cocktail bartender position is a full-time gig. Here's a run down of the requirements for each job on offer.

Security staff
Door staff roles are on offer at rates of between €14 and €18 per hour. The ideal candidate would be a calm, observant, attentive, diligent and highly focused individual with a passion for hospitality and health & safety.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Perform pre-shift checks before reporting to assigned post
- Stay vigilant and observant at post, constantly monitoring the crowd for unusual behaviour
- Loss Prevention: Anticipating and preventing incidents that may result in a loss for a patron or for the company
- Constantly monitoring and supervising the patrons in your area
- Constantly monitoring for drink spillages and working together with floor staff to clean any spillage in a timely manner, ensuring the safety of patrons and other staff members
- Reporting all incidents and potential incidents to management
- Taking detail notes in notebook of all incidents and potential incidents
- Maintaining a personal notebook, with records of all nights, including nights where no incidents were observed
- Writing up detailed incident reports after your shift of all potential incidents observed
Bar staff
Coppers is advertising for experienced bar staff and are offering rates of €12 to €13 per hour. Ideal candidates should be fluent in English, hard working, reliable, skilled and highly motivated individuals with a passion for customer service and hospitality.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Stock and prep the bar at the beginning of each night
- Serve patrons in a fast paced but effective manner whilst maintaining good customer relations
- Ensure absolute accuracy whilst dealing with payments and cash handling
- Maintain a clean and presentable bar serving area during periods of extreme busyness
- Clean and return the bar to perfect condition at the end of the night
Cocktail bartender
Last up is the role of cocktail bartender. The company is looking to fill this role with an experienced bartender who is hard working, skilled and highly motivated with a passion for hospitality and cocktail making.
Responsibilities include:
- Stock and prep the bar at the beginning of each night with required ingredients
- Batch cocktails
- Serve patrons in a fast paced but effective manner whilst maintaining good customer relations and cocktail quality
- Ensure absolute accuracy whilst dealing with payments and cash handling
- Maintain a clean and presentable bar serving area during periods of busyness
- Clean and return the bar to perfect condition at the end of the night
