A Dublin pub is coming to the rescue of disappointed Arctic Monkeys fans by hosting a party dedicated to the band's music this evening.
The English rockers were due to play Marlay Park tonight but cancelled the gig yesterday due to lead singer Alex Turner suffering from acute laryngitis. Ticketholders will be fully refunded within the next six working days.
Eden House Gastro Pub in Rathfarnham was all set up to welcome concert goers for food and drinks but has vowed to not let all the hard work go to waste. Fans are welcome at the pub until late tonight to celebrate the band's best music.
"We are directly across the road (from Marlay Park)," they said on Instagram. "We were all set up, we're devastated as you all are. We know the expense that goes into going to one of these gigs with B&Bs, taxis, coaches.

"Obviously the local businesses have a lot of expenses as well going to these gigs. We have BBQ food for 5,000 people.
"We're wishing the lead singer the best of help but obviously it's devastating... So we're going to have a little Arctic Monkeys party."
