Being the country's capital, Dublin is rich in its history, art and culture that make it a city like no other.
Some of the best places to discover and indeed rediscover those aspects of Dublin is in its museums, many of which are free to visit.
From thought-provoking paintings to natural history to artefacts that transport you back in time, taking a deep dive into different aspects of Dublin, Ireland and the wider world is always an enriching experience.
Here are seven Dublin museums you can visit for free.
