Dublin Lotto winner has just hours left to claim whopping €500,000 prize

A lucky Dublin punter who won a whopping €500,000 in the EuroMillions draw has just hours left to claim their prize.

The ticket was bought in Dunnes Stores in Kilnamanagh Shopping Centre in Tallaght on Thursday 23 February, and the EuroMillions draw happened on Friday 24 February. The National Lottery has issued one last appeal to EuroMillions players in the area to check their old tickets.

According to the National Lottery, ticketholders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize, otherwise the winnings goes back to the lottery. This means that the claim deadline for the €500,000 EuroMillions prize is close of business today.

The winning numbers for the Lotto draw on February 24 were 11, 15, 20, 23, 29. The winner of the prize should urgently sign the back of the winning ticket and immediately contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made to pay the prize.

Store manager at Dunnes in Kilnamanagh Suzanne Kelly said: "I remember there being such a huge buzz and lots of excitement when our store was revealed as the selling location for the winning EuroMillions Plus top prize ticket back in February.

"We’ve been hearing recently in the media that the €500,000 prize still hasn’t been claimed and it would be such a shame for someone to miss out on money of that value."
