After over 5,000 votes cast, Claire Byrne was tipped the favourite and received 854. The Radio 1 star has been the bookies' frontrunner since Miriam O'Callaghan took herself out of the running and is currently backed 2/5.
However, Brendan O'Connor was surprisingly voted a very close second after receiving 810 votes. The bookies appear to disagree with Dublin Live readers, as the Cork native is backed at only 66/1.
Tommy Tiernan came third with 598 votes while Daithi O Se received 573. Graham Norton and Sarah McInerney got 476 and 359 votes respectively.
Miriam O'Callaghan and Jennifer Zamparelli finished the bottom of the list after taking themselves out of the running.
