UK cafe chain Pret a Manger is expanding into Ireland - with 500 jobs set to be created within the next 10 years.
Up to 20 shops will be opened across Dublin and Ireland, with the first opening on Dawson Street this Summer creating 25 Dublin-based jobs.
Carebrook Partnership Limited will rollout the Pret locations across Ireland under a franchise arrangement.

"Setting up shop in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland has been our plan for a long time, and we're thrilled that we’re finally able to make it happen," said Pret A Manger CEO Pano Christou.
"There has long been demand from our neighbours on the island of Ireland to bring Pret’s freshly prepared food and organic coffee, and now with the backing of Carebrook Partnership Ltd we’re able to do so."
"We look forward to making this partnership a success."
The company had announced in February that it had expansion plans including moving into the Irish market.
Pret a Manger had previous plans to move to Ireland but were reportedly put on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The group closed 39 stores in the UK due to the pandemic, laying off more than 3,700 staff.
In 2021, the company announced plans to spend almost €120 million on doubling in size by 2026, in addition to the goal of expanding into five new markets by the end of 2023.
