The National Ambulance Service is hiring student paramedics and here's how you can apply.
The emergency service is offering wages of €31,335 per annum for this full-time position. Job responsibilities include attending cases of accidents and sudden illness, participating in exercises and training sessions, identifying and reporting potential hazards/risks, and driving vehicles operated by the NAS.
Successful applicants will work the shift patterns of 8, 10, or 12 hours including weekends, nights, and during public holidays. Additionally, student paramedics will be expected to be available for duty outside of the rostered hours as and when the need may arise.
Eager candidates will have to undergo a recruitment process involving a supervised verbal evaluation and logical thinking testing as well as a competency-based interview. The NAS is running the recruitment campaign is being run to create a national supplementary panel for student paramedics.
