The following roles offer candidates flexible hours and staff perks. The part time roles are particularly suited to students, but would benefit anyone looking for some additional cash ahead of an expensive Christmas.

Christmas Sales Advisor, Marks and Spencers
The grocery retailer is looking for people to cover evening shifts in their flagship store on Grafton Street. This position was only advertised this morning and offers candidates a 16 hour minimum contract, although the description says employees are expected to work additional hours during the Christmas rush.

The home entertainment chain is seeking full time seasonal staff with a €10.50 hourly rate on offer. The roles are based in their Stephen’s Green branch and the company is seeking highly motivated staff with a keen interest in music. The full job description is available via Indeed.
Christmas Team Member, Cineworld
Ireland’s largest cinema on Parnell Street is looking for Christmas staff, with the potential for long-term employment following the festive period. Benefits for employees include free movies ahead of public showings and possible eligibility for Cineworld’s Premier Pass, which gives employees a discount on cinema food and beverages.
Christmas Drivers, Fastway Couriers
This is a good opportunity for someone with their full driver’s license looking to work on their own schedule. Drivers are responsible for delivering and sorting packages to homes and businesses across Ireland. The role is typically a Monday to Friday one, although drivers may be requested to work some Saturdays ahead of the Christmas chaos. The job description states that all applicants must be aged 25 and over with access to their own transport.
Replenishment Staff, Woodies
Woodies are seeking Christmas staff for their Carrickmines store, with their hourly rate of pay set at €10.92. The DIY store are looking for people with previous retail experience who can work 6am to 10am shifts over the festive season.
