ESB Ireland is looking to hire for a whopping 1,000 new roles in Ireland.
The energy supplier is advertising a number of positions including critical roles in Engineering, IT, Finance, Procurement, Customer Service, HR, Apprentices, and, of course, Qualified Electricians.
The firm said it's hiring to support the delivery of its Driven to Make a Difference: Net Zero by 2040 strategy which aims to achieve net zero emissions.

Additionally, they are looking to recruit over 300 graduates, apprentices, and trainees over the next three years.
Here is a full list of roles they are hiring for:
- IT – Cyber specialists, Data Scientists and AI, Digital and Cloud specialists, project management
- Engineering – Offshore wind, renewables, network planning, asset development, environmental, civil, electrical and mechanical and environment (marine biologists and geologists, geotechnical roles and hydrology scientists)
- HR and Commercial – Procurement, Financial Accountants, Commercial Analysts, Trading, Human Resources and Customer Service
- Graduates, Trainees and Apprentices – Graduate Development programme, ESB Networks apprentice programme, Trainee and Apprentice roles in Finance, IT, HR, Engineering, Commercial.
