A popular comedy club located in the heart of Dublin's city centre is looking to hire a host with great job perks.
The Laughter Lounge is located on Eden Quay, and it's open over 20 years and features a wide variety of comedy acts on every week. The Laughter Lounge is the perfect spot to enjoy a night out to listen to your favourite comedians, and it also boasts a well-stocked bar and delicious food in the way of cheesy nachos and delicious pizza.
It's sure to be a jam-packed summer for the comedy club, and the Laughter Lounge is now looking to add to their team a "bubbly" host or hostess who can "work a room".

According to the jobs ad, the position would be on a part-time basis of 15 hours a week. The job will require someone who is flexible for night shifts.
The position will see the host or hostess paid a competitive rate of €20 per hour. And of course, the club is over 18s only so the host or hostess would also have to be aged 18 or over.
The Laughter Lounge said: "We’re Ireland’s Biggest Comedy Club so we want our guests to smile from the minute they enter our venue to the moment they leave and that’s where our Host/ Hostess comes in!
"We are looking for a Host/ Hostess to join our team and be the first point of contact for our guests. We want someone who is bubbly and knows how to work a room!"
Job responsibilities:
- Welcome guests to the venue
- Check-in guests at the door
- Manage reservations and seat guests
- Escort group/corporate bookings to the relevant area.
- Coordinate with floor staff and venue manager
- Cater to guests who require extra attention \*
Job requirements:
- Minimum 1-years of experience in a busy Dublin city centre bar or restaurant.
- MUST have great experience in the hosting and welcoming guests
- A range of skills like a Swiss Army Knife - you’re versatile, reliable, and adaptable.
- Amazing people skills that enable you to connect, inspire, and bring out the best in those around you.
