A house in Stillorgan has been left destroyed following a major blaze on Thursday.
The derelict house, located on the N11 Stillorgan Dual Carriageway, burst into flames shortly before noon and firefighters rushed to the scene.
Two traffic lanes and a cycle lane were closed to allow Dublin Fire Brigade to fight the blaze. Three pumps, an aerial ladder and a water tanker were needed at the scene to help bring the fire under control.

Photographs of the aftermath of the fire show that the roof and inside of the house are completely charred. Thankfully, no one was injured.
