House hunting in Dublin can be insanely stressful, especially if you're on a tight budget.
With the rising cost of living and exorbitant rent, even saving up for a deposit can be a struggle. Stats from the CSO revealed that the average house price in Ireland was €359,000 last year.
We found some lovely apartments and houses in north Dublin that are currently on the market for less than €300,000. These properties are being sold under private treaty so offers can be withdrawn without penalty up until contracts are signed.

The following properties on Auctioneera.ie would be eligible for the Local Authority Home Loan that has a limit in Dublin of €360,000. A single applicant can have an annual gross income of not more than €70,000 (gross) and joint applicants (a couple) can have an annual gross income of not more than €85,000 (gross).
This loan is applicable for second-hand homes (and new homes) unlike other schemes. Here is a full list of five of the best homes up for sale by private treaty in north Dublin. Please note that the prices listed are guide prices.
