A total of 1,192 Ukrainian refugees have enrolled into schools in Dublin, the highest of any county in Ireland.
819 of these are in primary education while 373 are in post-primary schools in the capital.
Across the country, 6,797 Ukrainian children are enrolled in schools.

The Department of Education has said that Regional Education and Language Teams (REALT) are now in place to assist Ukrainian families with the transition into the Irish education system.
REALT's initial focus is helping families secure places for their children in schools.
They will also be providing schools support to meet the needs of these children as well as advising the Department of Education in developing new capacity when required.
