AIG has announced an end to its successful long-term partnership with Dublin GAA.
The global business, which also has sponsorship deals with the New Zealand All Blacks, and previously Manchester United, confirmed that 2023 would mark an end to their involvement with the Dublin team. It is regarded as one of the longest commercial partnerships in Irish sporting history.
The relationships held by the AIG with Golf Ireland and the Ladies Gaelic Football Association remain unaffected by the decision. The lucrative partnership was worth an estimated €1 million to Dublin GAA.

The deal will end this November, with the Dubs now on the look out for a new potential partner. AIG was involved in several voluntary campaigns with the county board, including with childhood cancer charity Aoibheann's Pink Tie.
AIG was present for Dublin's six consecutive All Ireland wins between 2015 and 2020. The group says their departure does not reflect a drop in the team's sporting success.
