Dublin GAA: Boys in blue sail to victory in ultra-dominant Leinster quarter-final against Wexford

Dublin look to be continuing on an upward trajectory as they eased to a 1-24 to 0-4 victory over Wexford in Chadwick Park.

Meanwhile Westmeath overcame a shaky start to see off Longford by 3-13 to 0-14.

The main takeaway from Dublin's win was that Con O'Callaghan appeared to be on top of his game in his long-awaited return from injury.

The Cuala sharpshooter notched a total of 1-6 (all from play) as he really came alive as the match progressed.

Brian Fenton was also back to his imperious best as he kicked five points in the first half, the majority of which came from range and one even off his left boot.

It was a typical Leinster Championship non-event featuring Dublin so who knows what level they are at but no one picked up any fresh injuries so things seem to be coming together for them as we gear up for the All-Ireland series.
