Tireless firefighters worked overnight to extinguish a "large fire" in Dublin.
The blaze ripped through a vacant building on Rush Harbour in Fingal on Tuesday night. Three fire engines and a water tanker rushed to the scene of the flames.
A Dublin Fire Brigade spokesperson said on Twitter: "Firefighters discovered a vacant building well alight and worked until the early hours to extinguish the fire." Pictures shared by the emergency service show flames and thick smoke rising from the collapsed roof of the building.
It was a busy day for the members of DFB as the crew from Blanchardstown Fire Station was called to the birth of a baby girl. The mother and baby were transported to hospital in a DFB ambulance.
Additionally, firefighters and paramedics from Dun Laoghaire also attended a crash in Cherrywood on Tuesday morning.
