He said: "My fellow management team and I are proud of the impressive work of our operation and support staff, which are DFB's most essential assets. We acknowledge their dedication, hard work and professionalism, and without whom we could not provide the high level of response that our citizens have come to expect. The passion and pride of the people in our service and the positive role they play in protecting our community is demonstrated every day and I thank all of our staff for their contribution to public safety."
