Dublin Fire Brigade have sent an urgent warning not to overpack hot presses after rushing to a fire earlier in the week.
They said that hot presses contain electrics and water in a warm environment so it's important to use them properly so they don't become a hazard.
They are also advising people to allow air to circulate and to keep linen away from electrical connections. The firefighters shared a photo of a burnt hot press that had caused severe damage to the home's ceiling.

They tweeted: "Firefighters were called to a fire in a hot press earlier this week. Hot presses by their nature contain electrics and water in a warm environment.
"Try not to over pack your hot press, allow air to circulate and keep linen away from electrical connections."
