One person was taken to hospital after this incident on the N2 road today.
Emergency services attended the scene of the crash, which involved an overturned car, on the national road earlier.
The incident prompted Dublin Fire Brigade to remind motorists of the coming cold weather and to be careful on the roads.
Dublin Fire Brigade tweeted: "We should all be aware of the warning of a cold snap issued by Met Eireann at this stage.
"Take care on the roads over the next few days. Expect ice.
"One person was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following this incident off the N2 earlier."
