Dublin Fire Brigade has shared quirky photos of a snake rescue online.
The slithery mission, which took place in 2015, was documented on Dublin Fire Brigade's Twitter account this morning. The images were prompted by a video showing the animals lurking in someone's ceiling.
The venomous video led an online user to wonder whether Dublin Fire Brigade had received snake related callouts in recent times.

Staff revealed on Twitter: "Something similar a few years back. We helped a snake that had gotten trapped in a hollow branch."
The photos show staff handling the snake carefully after its rescue. The animal, which was a household pet, was released from the hollow branch after firefighters employed the use of a handsaw.
