Firefighters in Dun Laoghaire have bid a heartwarming farewell to a well-known member of staff upon his retirement.
Firefighter and paramedic Brian Doyle will be retiring after nearly three decades of service at the Dublin Fire Brigade.
Mr Doyle was praised as being "well known for his commitment to our Critical Incident Stress Management team which has helped many firefighters over the years," a spokesperson for the emergency service said.

They added: "Thank you Brian for all the work over your career."
The crew at Dun Laoghaire Fire Station came together to celebrate Mr Doyle's retirement on Wednesday.
Twitter users paid tribute to the veteran firefighter with one person saying: "Best of luck for a long, happy retirement, Brian."
Another person added: "Enjoy the retirement, Brian. A great firefighter and a great asset to the CISM team."
