Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene of a derelict building fire on a busy city road in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The fire service was alerted after smoke was seen billowing from a derelict building on the North Circular Road.
A total of six fire engines were deployed to tackle the blaze while the busy road, which connects with the Phoenix Park entrance, was closed to facilitate the early morning "firefighting operations."

Firefighters attached to Dublin Fire Brigade managed to get the fire under control by 5.30am on Thursday morning. They also reported that there were no injuries associated with the blaze that took hold in the derelict building.
After the fire was brought under control, the fire service updated its followers of the reopening of a section of the busy road, which was temporarily closed and contributing to early morning commuter traffic.
Posting on Twitter at 7am, a spokesperson said: "The North Circular Road has reopened at Doyle's Corner following a fire in a derelict building Six fire engines attended the scene with no injuries reported."
Images posted by Dublin Fire Brigade show the damage that the smoke caused to the interior of the derelict building during the fire.
A spokesperson for the capital's fire service said: "Early this morning we were called to reports of smoke issuing from a derelict building off the North Circular Road.
"Six fire engines attended and the road was closed to facilitate firefighting operations. The fire was under control by 5.30am and no injuries were reported."
