The capital’s leading bus service is currently recruiting for some new members to join their team, with one role offering a whopping €90,000.
Dublin Bus is on the lookout for a number of candidates to fill multiple roles, including bus drivers, mechanics, engineering operatives and the most recent addition - a public affairs manager.
The successful candidate will report to the head of strategic communications and engagement at the public transport operator with their main role to: "champion the role of Public Affairs and Public Policy in Dublin Bus".

The permanent role is subject to a six-month probationary period and the successful candidate will be expected to "devise and implement strategic corporate communications, public affairs, public policy and stakeholder engagement strategies for Dublin Bus".
Dublin Bus is requesting candidates with a third-level qualification in communications or political communications and a minimum of five to seven years of experience in a similar role to apply. The salary range is €80,000 - €90,000 per annum and the deadline for applications is 25 June 2023.
For the bus driver role, the salary range is €815.30 per week increasing to €943.99 as part of a six-year pay scale. Candidates do require a valid driving licence within a particular category. The closing date is July 31.
Dublin Bus is also looking for a mechanic with salaries beginning at €742.46 per week rising to €882.80 based on an eight-year pay scale. The closing date for this is December 31.
Lastly, Dublin Bus is hiring engineering operatives, paying €536.71 per week rising to €601.43 based on an eight-year pay scale. The closing date for this position is also December 31.
