Dublin Bus has announced route diversions on one popular cross-city route that will last months due to roadworks.
The route affected is the 123, which runs from Marino to Walkinstown and vice versa.
The diversions are due to works being carried out at the junction of Malahide Road and Griffith Avenue.
The dates for the diversions are:
- Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 January 2022
- Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 February 2022
- Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 February 2022
- Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 February 2022
- Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 February 2022
- Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 March 2022
- Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 March 2022
- Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 March 2022
When heading towards Marino, the 123 will operate a normal route until stop 1487. Stops 1488, 1489 and 1490 will not be in use during this time.
When going towards Walkinstown, stops 1491, 1492, 1493 and 1482 will not be in use during this time.
Dublin Bus is also currently on the lookout for new drivers to join the transport operator.
The weekly salary of a Dublin Bus driver ranges from "€632.05 per week (4-day week inclusive of shift and Sunday premium), increasing to €859.62 (5-day week inclusive of shift and Sunday premium)."
