Dublin Airport warn that passengers may miss their flights today due to 'significant' delays

Dublin Airport have warned that passengers may miss their flights today due to the "significant" queues.

People have been slamming the crazy queues all morning after many people missed their flights.

However, Dublin Airport have said that the problem is unlikely to be resolved today.

They tweeted: "Due to significant queues inside the terminal for check-in, bag drop & security, passengers queueing outside the terminal may not make their flight & may need to contact their airline to rebook.

"We sincerely apologise for the obvious frustration and inconvenience this may cause."

People have taken to Twitter to voice their frustration and post videos of the long queues.

One person said: "Two hours to get through fast track. If you’re travelling leave yourself longer than the recommended 2.5hrs. So many people stressed and crying"

Another wrote: "Flight leaves in 3 hours. Apparently a 2.5 hour wait through security. Happy Sunday."

A third wrote: "is chaotic this morning! Q’s for Q’s, road blocked off. Traffic nightmare. God help those travelling with children."

A fourth commented: "After what I have seen this morning Board and Senior Management of Dublin Airport should resign. I have never seen anything so badly managed."
