There were long delays for passengers travelling through Dublin Airport this morning after a technical issue caused the baggage system to malfunction.
Passengers in Terminal 2, who were checking in their bags, on Thursday morning experienced significant delays at the bag drop.
Airport officials worked to resolve the issue but many customers were left unhappy and took to social media to voice their complaints, Dublin Live reports.

A spokesman for daa, the operator of Dublin Airport, told the Irish Mirror: "An issue with the baggage system in Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport resulted in minor delays for some passengers checking in bags on Thursday morning. daa liaised closely with its airline partners to assist impacted passengers."
Earlier today, one person wrote on Twitter: "Big delays @AerLingus bag drop in Terminal 2 @DublinAirport because of a baggage belt malfunction. Great start to the hols."
A second wrote: "Anyone travelling from Terminal 2 Dublin Airport leave an hour earlier. Bag drop belts are not working, long queues."
Another person said "nothing [is] moving now", while a third said: "Total chaos in T2 @DublinAirport where the @AerLingus bag conveyor belt hasn't been working for an hour. Shambles!"
In an update around 4pm, the official Dublin Airport Twitter account said: "...things are moving well this afternoon."
