Queues in and outside Dublin Airport this morning were described by some passengers as "chaos" again after a manic few days.
The airport has been beginning queues outside Terminal 1 over the weekend to help filter through the large swell of early arrivals quickly.
A spokesperson said on Twitter this morning: "With extra security lanes open earlier today & our TaskForce assisting operations, Dublin Airport is prepared for an extremely busy Easter holiday time. We sincerely thank passengers for heeding our advice to only arrive up to three & half hours ahead of their departure time.

"We are currently managing the flow of passengers into the terminal as part of a carefully planned process with the aim of keeping passengers safe and ultimately making sure passengers make their flights on time. We have 10 security lanes open in T1 and queues are moving steadily."
And while the pictures of queues looked dramatic, the majority of people were moving quickly and praised staff for their hard work.
Passenger Hilary Griffey said: "I am now amongst the many thousands that have had the joy of experiencing the phenomenal queues in #dublinairport . Arrived at 4am and no queue outside. Had fast track but was much slower than the main queue. Through in one hour though. Staff doing a great job."
Rosie Mountford said: "Through check-in and security in 25 minutes at @DublinAirport at 5:45am this morning. Very busy but well organised."
Siobhan Dowling added: "arrived at T1 at 5:35am. @Ryanair bag dropped at 5:45am. Family assistance lane at security, through by 6:10am. Eating breakfast at La Marquette by 6:30am. Probably the most pleasant experience I've had at Dublin Airport. Very busy but moving."
One passenger travelling through at around 7am even bragged they made it through T1 security in as little as "nine minutes".
