Dublin Airport is navigating its busy summer season with ease according to recent figures.
The daa confirmed that 8 out of 10 passengers made their way through security in less than 10 minutes last month. June marked the airport's busiest month so far in 2023 as peak season continues.
Approximately 200,000 passengers travelled through Dublin Airport in June. Travel figures are level with those reported during the same period in 2019.
The daa's CEO Kenny Jacobs said: "Our busiest day of the year so far was Friday, June 30 -. Families wasted little time in getting their bags packed and their feet on the beaches of Europe and beyond, with almost 116,000 passengers passing through the airport that same day as schools all over the country broke for their summer holidays."

Meanwhile, 98 per cent of passengers sailed through security in under 20 minutes or less in June. This exceeded the daa's target of 90 per cent.
Passengers are reminded to arrive three hours before a long haul flight and two hours before a short haul departure amid the busy travelling season.
