Dublin Airport passenger left blown away by worker's act of kindness in car park

A Dublin Airport passenger was left blown away by a worker's kind gesture.

The man had opened the back window of his car while parking in long term green park due to the hot weather.

However, he had completely forgotten to close it before heading for his flight.

When he came back a week later, he was thrilled to see that someone had put a plastic covering over the half open window.

The happy customer took to Twitter to express his gratitude.

He tweeted: "I parked in the Express Green Long Term Car Park in Dub Airport on 14 May!

"It was roasting & I had the back window half open! I forgot to close it and returned a week later to a plastic covering taped over the window!

"Dublin Airport can you please thank whoever did this?"

Dublin Airport said that they would pass on their thanks.

They replied: "We'll pass on your thanks! #ADryBumIsAHappyBum."

Others shared their own pleasant experience with workers in the carpark.

One person said: "Once got off a very long journey from Washington...got confused where I’d parked my car in blue long term- 5am in Winter. Fella who worked there saw I was alone and stuck, gave me a lift in work van to go find it. He made sure I went and got a coffee before driving home. Sound lads!"

Another wrote: "Flying to Spain last August and parked in holiday blue, someone beside me parked a gorgeous brand new high spec Seat Ibiza had left their passenger window down, told the driver and he got on the radio and told security, said they'd go cover it up. Hope the owner was sorted."
