The controversial proposal to introduce a toll for picking up and dropping off passengers at Dublin Airport is facing a fresh challenge from a local councillor.
Independent Councillor Joe Newman has launched a planning challenge to the daa's plans.
Fingal County Council granted permission for the new tolls to be introduced but Cllr Newman has lodged a appeal to An Bord Pleanala, according to reports.

There was a contribution from Fine Gael Senator Emer Currie in the appeal, which described the new tolls as a "money grabbing exercise".
She said: "Dublin Airport Authority has reduced an Irish tradition of collecting family and friends at the airport or welcoming family home for Christmas to a money grabbing exercise.
“We so often see RTÉ reporting from Dublin Airport each Christmas as families welcome home loved ones. This application puts a price on the personal touch.”
Fingal County Council granted planning permission to the Dublin Airport Authority to construct new paid zones on the roads at Terminals 1 and 2 a month ago.
The daa said the new system aims to 'reduce car journeys to and from the airport' and encourage the use of public transport.
The airport has been dogged with controversies recently over passengers facing long delays getting through security.
