Dublin Airport jobs: Ryanair hiring ground handling agents on new increased salary

Ryanair is hiring ground handling agents at Dublin Airport on a new increased starting salary of €30,000.

The roles, advertised on their website, are full-time positions and the company does not require previous airport or ramp experience. They urge prospective candidates to apply immediately for “an immediate interview and a start date to suit you for our Summer 2023 operation”.

“With our new and improved industry leading pay, this is the perfect time to apply,” they write in the advertisement. The ultra low-cost carrier is looking for a “self-starter, motivated and eager to learn” with an unrestricted right to live and work in the EU, a full clean driver's license and “ability to work in a fast-paced environment”.

The successful candidates will be working as part of a large team to ensure that Ryanair’s flights depart on-time. The shift-based role includes duties such as marshalling aircraft onto stand on arrival, assisting passengers during boarding, and operating the vehicles that transport the baggage to and from the main terminal. Successful candidates will be required to complete a full five year background check in order to obtain a Dublin Airport ID.

Benefits include premium pay for additional hours, 30 days annual leave, regular promotion opportunities before each new season. Staff will also have discounts when travelling across the Ryanair network, parking at Dublin Airport which would be subject to availability, and staff discounts at selected Dublin Airport shops.

Ryanair will also be hosting a recruitment open day at The Carlton Hotel, Dublin Airport on Saturday 21st January from 10:00 to 16:00 for anyone who is interested in career opportunities with the company.
