Dublin Airport jobs: Operator hiring apprentices and deadline is fast approaching

Dublin Airport is hiring for a number of apprenticeships this year.

Airport operator daa is looking for "enthusiastic and hardworking" individuals to join their team in the capital. The firm is offering six training placements for those interested in taking up a career as a tradesperson including two fitters, two electricians, one carpenter, and one agricultural mechanic.

The apprenticeship will be a mixture of workplace and classroom training and on completion, apprentices will receive a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate. The dealing for applications is on June 18, 2023, so you better act fast.

Applicants must fulfil a number of job requirements to apply for the positions. Candidates must be at least 18 years old on September 1, 2023.

The ideal candidates must have completed the Leaving Certificate with the following minimum grades: Minimum Grade O6 in five subjects, including Maths and English and one of the following subjects: Science, Technical Graphics, Materials Technology (Metal/ Wood) or Technology.

Additionally, the company is looking for people with a genuine interest in mechanical or electrical tasks with a technical aptitude, excellent coordination and hand skills, and strong problem-solving ability amongst others.
