The New Years' rush of people heading to and from Ireland for celebrations will see Dublin Airport welcoming thousands over the coming days.
In line with an incoming burst of departures, passengers are advised to arrive on time for flights - and no earlier.
Fears over a return of the lengthy queues seen in past months are being dealt with by officials asking people to only arrive two hours before short hauls, and three hours before long flights.

Officials have asked that passengers do not arrive any earlier than this to avoid unnecessary queues forming.
Taking to Twitter, Dublin Airport issued the following advice:
Short haul
Arrive two hours before departure for short-haul flights.
If checking in a bag, verify your airline’s check-in and bag drop desk opening times, and if possible allow up to one hour of additional time to check in luggage.
Long haul
Arrive three hours prior to departure for long-haul flights.
If checking in a bag, verify your airline’s check-in and bag drop desk opening times, and if possible allow up to one hour of additional time to check in luggage.
Passengers are reminded by Dublin Airport that “arriving much earlier than the advised time may lead to longer queues and wait times”.
