A spokesperson for daa told the Irish Mirror: "Part of Terminal 1 at Dublin Airport was evacuated for a short period of time just before 08.30 on Monday morning due to the activation of a fire alarm.
"Dublin Airport’s own fire service attended immediately and quickly brought the situation under control.
"Security operations within T1 remained open throughout and normal operations resumed shortly after 0900."
It comes as people took to social media to report being "evacuated".
One person wrote on Twitter: “Dublin Airport arrivals T1. Evacuation, Fire service in attendance.”
Issuing advice to other flyers, they continued: “If you have your boarding pass and no checked luggage to get in, try T2 security.”
Another person said: “At Dublin Airport and being evacuated.”
