However all eyes are on RAYE, who has a record-breaking seven nominations. “It feels like, I can only describe it as a miracle… it's emotional,” she told a reporter on the red carpet, where she wowed in a crystal-dropping, off-the-shoulder black Fendi couture gown.
Soon after Charli XCX arrived wearing an ethereal green and pink number from Marni, comprising a wet-look, skin-tight bodice and draped silk skirt with a billowing train. Having recently dropped her highly anticipated ‘Von Dutch’ single, the pop pioneer drew a big cheer from the crowd as she entered the arena.
Singer Caroline Polachek had the most fashion-forward look of the night, pulling a look straight from Simone Rocha’s Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2024 couture runway. She chose one of the standout pieces from the collection, the watch-out-or-you-might-poke-an-eye devil horned cone bra dress with a cut out panelling down the side.
She’s no stranger to glamorous awards ceremonies, having attended the Golden Globes, Grammys and the Critics Choice Awards in the last few months alone, so unsurprisingly Dua Lipa delivered another banger tonight. The Houdini singer opted for a black leather Versace gown with a V-shape plunging neckline, which she accessorised with a silver necklace and bangle.
Two-time British Vogue cover star Maya Jama is hosting the ceremony tonight, so the certified fashion IT-girl pulled out all the stops. The presenter sported an elegant gown with a sheer corset and dramatic velvet bubble hem. While Kylie Minogue wowed in a little black dress with a ruffled peplum skirt.
