Dua Lipa makes £51.6million in one year as star sells out two nights at Wembley stadium

Dua Lipa earned around £1million per week last year thanks to merchandise sales and her Future Nostalgia tour.

According to her account filings which ended in March 2023, the 28-year-old’s company Radical 22 Live LLP reported an eye-watering turnover of £51.6 million.

The filing to Companies House, which was lodged over the weekend, revealed that after expenses the Grammy winner averaged £59,000 per day, leaving her with £21.7 million in profits.

Back in May, it was revealed that she had landed the 29th spot on the Sunday Times Rich List, with a net worth of £90 million, joining the ranks of the UK's wealthiest celebrities such as Adele, Harry Styles, and Ed Sheeran.

The Training Season hitmaker heads nine private firms and is poised for another lucrative year following the release of her third album, Radical Optimism, in May.

The album has already produced three Top Ten hits—Houdini, Training Season, and Illusion—which she showcased during her headline performance at Glastonbury.

Riding the wave of her Worthy Farm success, she announced two Wembley Stadium shows, June 20 and June 21, both which sold out within a day.

She has also performed at major festivals such as NOS Alive in Portugal, Open'er in Poland, and Mad Cool in Spain.

The British star, who is dating actor Callum Turner, will resume touring in November and December with dates in Asia before returning to the UK.

Late last year it was reported that she is on track to become the wealthiest British female pop star after parting ways with her management company, TaP in 2022.

Off the stage, she took control of her publishing catalogue, a move that followed Taylor Swift’s decision to re-record her masters, and established Radical 22 Publishing Limited to manage her commercial assets with her father, Dukagjin "Dugi" Lipa.

In November, The Sun reported that she was on course to become a billionaire by the time she is 40 after the move.

The source said at the time: “Dua wants to take back control of her career and Dugi is very hands-on.

“He felt like she was giving away too high a percentage of her earnings, and after becoming her manager he felt the next logical step was to come in as an official business partner.

“Essentially, the move also has echoes of Taylor Swift — a huge female pop star rewriting the narrative and making money on her own terms. By the time she's 40, Dua could be a billionaire.”
