Dua Lipa is set to take Hollywood by storm after bagging a role in the Barbie movie alongside acting royalty, Margot Robbie.
The Levitating hit-maker, 26, is one of the most successful female popstars in history and is regarded as one of the most popular 'it girls' of the moment - and now she's set to show off her acting skills in the hotly-anticipated blockbuster.
The flick is due to start production later this year in the UK, and Dua is set to star alongside Wolf Of Wallstreet actress, Margot.
The Albanian-born singer made her acting debut last year as she landed a role in spy thriller Argylle - which is set for release later this year - and following her first big-screen role, Dua made quite the impression on big names in the industry.
Lifting the lid on Dua's exciting move into Hollywood, an insider told: "Dua is making waves in both music and movies.
“She really impressed in Argylle and word spread around Hollywood about how good she was."
The source added to The Sun: “Now she has joined the cast of Barbie alongside big names including Margot, Ryan Gosling, Will Ferrell and Saoirse Ronan.
“Although Argylle is a big film in its own right, Barbie will be a breakthrough part for Dua because there is so much hype around it.
“Dua is quickly proving there is far more to her than just being a pop star. She has an exciting future ahead of her in films.”
It comes as Dua has enjoyed sold out arenas night after night across UK and Ireland, the US, and Europe since kicking off her Future Nostalgia tour in February.
The talented and hard-working star is also currently finalising her third album - which she revealed recently was almost finished.
