Dua Lipa adds second Wembley Stadium date after first sells out in five minutes

Dua Lipa has added a second London date to the Radical Optimism Tour after the first sold out in five minutes.

The seven-time Brit Award winner will perform at Wembley Stadium next summer on June 20 - and has now announced another show on June 21 after the ticket frenzy.

Taking to Instagram, the Don’t Start Now singer, 28, posted a video of herself from bed sharing her shock about selling out the 90,000-capacity venue.

She began: “Good morning, good morning, bloody hell, we just sold out Wembley, Wembley stadium. I guess I won't be going back to bed then that's nice.

“You guys! Oh my God, I can't believe it, I can't believe it.

“Oh my God, oh my God,” she said before screaming with joy into her pillow.

Captioning the carousel post, which also featured a snap of her sold-out date and a video of her performing, Lipa first shared her joy: “I heard it's coming home so I thought I would too (AGAIN)!!!!

“Wow this was the best morning wake up call!!! YOU GUYS SOLD OUT WEMBLEY STADIUM IN MINUTES!!”

She then went on to announce the second date, writting: “I love you so much we're adding another date for ya!! SATURDAY 21ST JUNE 2025, WEMBLEY STADIUM, TICKETS AVAILABLE NOW ~ link in stories!!!!!”

The news comes after she served up a concert for the ages for her first-ever Glastonbury headline slot.

The gig involved five different outfit changes, a high-speed tour through her back catalogue and a guest appearance from her Radical Optimism collaborator, Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, with whom Lipa duetted for his track The Less I Know The Better, and her new album’s lead single Houdini.

Reflecting on the performance, Lipa called the gig “the best night of my life”.

Following her headline slot, she announced her 2025 shows on social media, writing: “There couldn’t be a better time to share this with you all! I am still flying high from the magic of headlining the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury this weekend, and I am absolutely thrilled to announce I’ll be playing Wembley Stadium this time next year.”
