DTGO has been recognised by Ethisphere, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices, as one of the 2022 “World’s Most Ethical Companies”.
DTGO is Thailand’s only four-time honouree, having now received the designation since 2019. In 2022, 135 companies were recognised spanning 22 countries and 45 industries.
DTGO was founded in 1993 with a focus on business and society. The group’s goals include creating well-being for all under its motto of “Adding Value in Everything We Do”. DTGO’s many business groups include Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC), a property developer.
DigitaLife is an e-commerce specialist. Obodroid and Obotrons are joint ventures to develop robotics technologies and automation innovations, including Home Intelligent Systems. Dees Supreme is a global procurement and trading company. Unisus Green Energy designs and operates environment-friendly energy and utility systems.
DTGO’s diversified expertise enables it to address challenges such as the COVID-19 outbreak. MQDC helped set up “Light of Heart” in 2021 as the country’s first private-sector field hospital. The facility integrated knowledge and skills from across the group. Obodroid, for instance, contributed the “Kaitomm Hospital” telemedicine app for staff to communicate safely with patients. The “Pinto” robot also delivers food, drinks, and medicines at field hospitals.
Under its socially integrated business approach of doing business alongside societal contribution, DTGO dedicates 2% of its topline revenue to initiatives for the world. The group works through non-profits such as Buddharaksa Foundation, focused on education, and Blue Carbon Society, which addresses the environments. The group works with other organisations for public health.
