Despite being well into autumn, the weather is due to remain dry and fairly warm according to forecasters.
The Met Office reports that high pressure will stop rain to the northwest and Merseyside and will draw up mild air from the southwest. Those conditions will allow for exceptionally dry and mild days ahead.
However, across the Atlantic, forecasters say the jet stream is strengthening, propelling much more unsettled weather towards us for next week. After some drizzle in the morning today, on Thursday, November 10, there will be sunny spells and highs of 16C.

Into Friday and the weekend, there will be further sunny and dry spells, with 17C being hit. The mild theme will continue through the weekend however, the lighter winds mean that mist and fog may linger throughout the day in some areas and therefore sunshine could be limited.
In the latest 10 Day trend, Alex Deakin of the Met Office said: "For many, the second half of the week looks a lot drier than the first half of the week, but the winds coming up from the southwest bringing mild air as well as some strong gusts, especially over parts of northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
"The main focus will be the temperatures overnight. Temperatures of 13 or 14C Thursday and into Friday, bring the potential for some records to be broken in Northern Ireland and Scotland."
