A drunk teen made four hoax phone calls to police insisting he had placed a "bomb in a hotel" - in an attempt get a "lift home".
George Brazil, 19, called cops on January 7 this year, and referred to himself as "Mr Bomb" after insisting he had placed a nail bomb in the Mercure Great Danes Hotel in Ashford Road, Kent.
Medway Magistrates' Court was told the hoaxer's threat saw specialised police dispatched to the hotel along with firearm officers and Special Branch teams.
After the police received the intimidating phone calls the hotel, which was being used as a temporary court at the time, saw a huge police presence arrive.
The officers arrived after George, who was 18 at the time, made the drunk call to alarmed officers.
Prosecutor Alan Balneaves said: "He decided the best way to get back home (via police) was to make a bomb hoax.
" Kent Police received four 999 calls from a gentleman who said he was Mr Bomb.
"There were a number of calls. He said he had a nail bomb and said he was in Isis. He also gave his name, address and date of birth."
The court heard there was no bomb found at the hotel but the hoax call saw multiple staff deployed from Special Branches to the site.
"The police did not see it at the time as somebody who was drunk and making calls to get a lift home", the prosecutor added.
"It was amateurish at best and foolish."
Defence solicitor Wayne Crowhurst said George's drunken hoax was partly influence by booze and a "lack of maturity".
He said: "He’s also autistic which might explain the repeated phone calls.
"He had an argument with a young lady and he couldn’t get home so he thought he would phone the police."
George's solicitor, however, admitted he was good at building computers and that "with the right guidance he could have a bright future."
The 19-year-old pleaded guilty to telling police false information - after lying about their being a bomb at the Mercure Great Danes Hotel.
District Judge Stephen Leake gave George a six month prison sentence, suspended for 24 months.
He also has to carry out 100 hours unpaid work and 15 rehabilitation activity days, as well as pay £85 costs and a £115 surcharge.
Kent Police have been contacted for comment.
