Drumchapel street locked down by police following 'sudden death' of a man

Police have closed off a street in Drumchapel following the sudden death of a man.

Cops were called to Duntreath Avenue at around 5.20am this morning and later confirmed a man had been found dead.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, but no further details were given and the man's age and identity remain unknown.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.20am on Thursday, 24 November, 2022, police were called to Duntreath Avenue, Drumchapel, Glasgow, following the sudden death of a man.

“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
